1. Competition Overview

The Tloupas PATH Awards are part of Tloupas PATH, an initiative inspired by the legacy of renowned photographer Takis Tloupas, a native of Larissa who lived and worked in the city for over four decades. Through his lens, he documented life across his hometown and the wider Thessalian plain, creating an extensive ethnographic archive that captures a pivotal period of transformation in Greek society and rural life. The PATH Awards are the flagship event of the annual Tloupas PATH Festival, which celebrates photography as a tool of cultural memory and contemporary expression. Alongside the competition, the festival features exhibitions, events, talks, and educational programs for audiences of all ages.

The Tloupas PATH Photography Competition is conducted through an annual Open Call for submissions. At the beginning of each year, organizers announce a central Theme Cycle, which shapes the direction of all festival-related events for that year. This Theme Cycle also serves as the focus of that year’s Open Call. The competition is launched each spring and remains open for 60 days, during which candidates are invited to submit their work. Submissions must be made exclusively through the competition’s official online platform. Detailed information regarding eligibility, submission guidelines, and technical specifications are thoroughly described in sections 3, 4, and 5 below.

At the heart of the Tloupas PATH initiative lies a focus on human presence and its relationship with the environment. This is, after all, a core element of Takis Tloupas’s photographic legacy. Each year’s Theme Cycle is built around this foundational idea, exploring the ways in which people shape, interact with, and leave their mark on the world around them. Rather than imposing limitations, the annual themes are designed to serve as conceptual frameworks—guiding lines that inspire a wide range of creative interpretations and approaches. Whether capturing direct human activity or the subtle traces left behind, the Theme Cycles invite photographers to engage with broad, meaningful questions through their own unique lens.

For 2025, the Theme Cycle is titled ‘Turning Point‘, inviting participants to submit works that reflect the process or outcome of definitive, transformative change. (see Turning Point link in Awards Chapter)

The Tloupas PATH Awards are open to photographers of all backgrounds, whether amateur or professional, emerging or established. Participation is international, welcoming entries from Greece and around the world, with no age restrictions. Participants are free to submit as many photographs as they wish, provided each entry adheres to the specific terms and requirements of the competition categories as defined by the institution. There are no limitations regarding the photographic medium, technique, or style. Employees, representatives, and official partners of the Tloupas PATH Awards are not eligible to participate. Participants may not be employees, representatives or partners of Tloupas PATH Awards.

For 2025, the Open Call includes two award categories:

(a) TLOUPAS PATH INTERNATIONAL AWARD: This category is intended for established, mid-career photographers with a recognized body of work that includes publications, exhibitions, or other forms of professional recognition. It is open to photographers of any age, nationality, and country of residence.

(b) TLOUPAS PATH UNDER 30 AWARD: This category is designed for emerging photographers under the age of 30 (for the 2025 competition, those born on or after 31/12/1995). It is open exclusively to photographers who are permanent residents of Greece, regardless of nationality. The award aims to support and highlight new voices at the early stages of their creative careers.

For both categories, submissions must be made exclusively through the official website of the institution via the designated SUBMIT link. Applicants are required to upload a portfolio of a photographic series, with full details outlined under the guidelines for each category. (See also section 4: Submission Guidelines link)

2. General Terms and Conditions

Please read the competition terms carefully to understand how your photographs may be used. The rules are designed to protect both your intellectual property rights and those of the Tloupas PATH Awards. By
entering the competition, you confirm that you have read and accepted the rules governing the Tloupas PATH Awards.

The Tloupas PATH Awards reserve the right to unilaterally amend the rules or any part of the competition’s terms and conditions. Should any changes occur, all affected participants will be informed via email.

Each participant bears full responsibility for any third-party claims related to their participation. By entering the competition, they agree to fully indemnify the Tloupas PATH Awards and its sponsors against any claims, rights or other costs that may arise due to violations of these terms. The Tloupas PATH Awards assume no responsibility for any technical or other issues that participants may encounter during the submission process.

Furthermore, the Tloupas PATH Awards reserve the right to disqualify any submission it deems non-compliant with the above rules, even after the work has been uploaded to the competition platform.

We emphasize our commitment to resolving any potential disputes in good faith. This is an artistic competition, intended to promote and celebrate the work of creators. However, any legal disputes that may arise will be settled by the competent courts of Larissa, Greece.

All submissions must be made exclusively through the official website of the Tloupas PATH Awards, using the designated SUBMIT link. Entrants must upload a photographic series that adheres to the specifications defined for their chosen category. (See also section 4: Submission Guidelines link)

Each participant may submit only one photographic series per competition cycle. If the series is not selected, the photographer may resubmit it in a future edition of the competition, provided it complies with all current specifications and aligns with the new Theme Cycle set for that year.

The annual Theme Cycle is announced each spring, followed by the official Open Call for entries. From the launch date, the submission platform remains open for 60 days. The Tloupas PATH Awards reserve the right to extend the submission deadline or cancel the competition entirely.

Once the submission period has closed, the jury panel will evaluate all eligible entries and compile a shortlist for each category. Shortlisted photographers will be personally notified via email, and their names and selected images from their submitted series will be published on the official competition platform and the Tloupas PATH Awards’ social media channels. Within 30 days of the shortlist announcement, the judging panel will determine the final rankings and select one winner for each category. Winners will be notified directly by email, while the official public announcement and award ceremony will be held at a later date.

All judging decisions are final and non-negotiable. In some cases, participants may be required to verify their age (e.g., if participating in an age-specific category) or to prove that their photographs are not AI-generated. Submissions that do not comply with the competition rules and terms will be automatically disqualified.

The Tloupas PATH Awards assume no responsibility for the consequences of any submission made to the competition, nor for any technical or other issues that participants may encounter during the submission process.
The Tloupas PATH Awards reserve the right to disqualify any submission that is deemed not to comply with the above terms and conditions, even if it has already been uploaded to the competition website.

3. New Account & Profile

To participate in the Tloupas PATH Awards competition, all entrants must first create an account (register). The registration process is as follows: On the registration page, users are required to provide the following information:

  • Username
  • E-mail
  • Password
  • Confirm Password

Next, users must select the competition category they wish to enter: Recognized Photographers (International Award)
ii) Emerging Under 30 (Greece-based Award)
To complete the process, participants must accept the terms of use, and then click SUBMIT to finalize their registration.

To verify the account, users will receive a confirmation email. After verification, users must log in each time they return to the website in order to access or edit their personal account. Through this account, users can communicate with the Tloupas PATH Awards team; upload photos, texts, and any required materials needed to participate in the competition; and share optional content, such as social media links or additional texts.

Users may update or delete their profile at any time through their account dashboard.

No. In order to participate in the Tloupas PATH competitions, each photographer must first create an account and then complete their personal profile. Submission is not possible without completing both steps.

Your personal account is the gateway to participation in the competition. Without it, entry is not possible.

Beyond submission access, the account also serves as a personalized digital space where users can upload photographs, written content, biography, social media links, other information that helps establish and verify their creative identity.

Given the high visibility and cultural significance of the Tloupas PATH Awards, having an account also increases the online exposure of each participant’s profile and submitted work.

YES. You may add, edit, or update your profile information at any time. You can also delete your account whenever you choose.
IMPORTANT: After your final submission of photos and accompanying texts to the competition, no changes can be made to that material. You may still update your personal profile information, but the submitted images and related texts are locked and cannot be edited or withdrawn.

4. Submission of Entries

The following fields must be completed when submitting an entry:

TLOUPAS PATH INTERNATIONAL AWARD: up to 15 photographs

TLOUPAS PATH UNDER 30 AWARD: up to 10 photographs

Photographs must be uploaded individually in numerical order (e.g., username_01). Each image includes optional fields for a Title and Caption.
Once you have uploaded all your images, click the SAVE button and then click FINAL SUBMISSION to complete the process.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Once the final submission has been completed, users cannot withdraw or modify their entry. Only changes to the user profile will still be possible.

Participation in the 2025 Tloupas PATH Awards competition is free of charge.

5. Photo Specifications

The competition accepts all types of photography: digital, analog, or mobile phone images. Post-processing, image editing, and alternative or mixed media techniques – such as cyanotypes, collage, or other artistic methods – are permitted, provided that photography remains the central component of the submitted work.
Photographs may be new or previously created, as long as they meet the criteria outlined in each award category.

A photo series (“Series”) is defined as the group of photographs that stem from a single photographic project, are thematically and narratively connected, forming a cohesive story or concept, and are clearly and meaningfully linked to the accompanying Text. The Series Description Text should highlight the connection between the work and the annual theme outlined in the Open Call.
Submission limits by category:

Emerging Photographers (Under 30 category):
– Up to 10 photographs
– Total file size must not exceed 40 MB
– Maximum file size per image: 4 MB

Recognized Photographers (International Award):
– Up to 15 photographs
– Total file size must not exceed 60 MB
– Maximum file size per image: 4 MB

Photographs must have the following specifications:
– Resolution: 72 dpi
– Maximum dimension: 2000 pixels on the longest side
– Format: JPEG (.jpg)
– Maximum file size per image: 4 MB

If selected for exhibition, participants will be required to provide high-resolution files suitable for print.

Any necessary adjustments – such as resizing, scanning, or file preparation for exhibition purposes – must be carried out by the artist.

All Series Description Texts must be original works by the pareticipating photographers and must not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, except in cases of brief, properly cited references. The texts must meet the content and length requirements defined by the competition.
The curators or competition organizers reserve the right to request revisions to any text considered offensive, inappropriate, or potentially posing a reputational risk to the institution. In the event of disagreement, the entry may be disqualified.
The institution reserves the right to use the submitted texts as published on the platform exclusively for the purposes of publication, exhibition, or promotion of the images and the competition.

Before uploading your work, please ensure you are within the competition’s submission period, that the Open Call has not yet closed, and that your image files meet all technical specifications.
IMPORTANT: In some cases, files may meet the pixel dimensions, but not the file size limits (in MB) or the total size allowed for the series. In this case, you will need to reduce the file size, either by compressing the image or by submitting a smaller version. If the problem persists, restart the application. Each image file must include the photographer’s full name in Latin characters (either uppercase or lowercase), an underscore, and the photo’s serial number:
FullName_ImageNumber (e.g., ADAMSMITH_01).
The numbering should match the order in which the images appear in your submission.

Yes. Participants may use collage, image editing, traditional photographic methods, montage, hand-coloring, cyanotypes, or any other artistic interventions applied to the images.

Photographs generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) are strictly NOT allowed in the competition. If a selected photograph is later found to have been produced using AI tools, it will be automatically disqualified. In cases where there is doubt or a challenge regarding the authenticity of a photograph and whether it was created by AI, the photographer will be required to provide proof (such as digital file metadata) that the image is not AI-generated.
The jury’s final decision is definitive and cannot be contested.

Descriptions may be either mandatory or optional, depending on the specific requirements outlined in the Open Call terms. A description is only required when indicated, and in such cases, a corresponding field will be provided. If no specific description is given, you may use the title “Untitled” or “Untitled”.

No. In general, watermarks or any other additions that might alter the quality or integrity of the image or file should not be added.

YES, you can make changes to your images until the final submission. Once the submission is finalized, NO, you cannot modify your images.

Yes. However, please read carefully the competition terms below regarding the use of your images for promotional purposes and in the case they are selected for the exhibitions.

By participating in the competition, you confirm that you are the original creator of the submitted work and hold all necessary intellectual property rights, as well as the approval of any participants involved. You also guarantee that the use of your images by the Tloupas PATH Awards will not infringe upon the intellectual property or legal rights of any third party. Entries involved in legal disputes or prior complaints are not eligible.
You are solely responsible for third-party claims related to your participation and agree to fully indemnify the Tloupas PATH Awards and its sponsors for any rights, fees, or other amounts owed to third parties due to the violation of the above terms. The Tloupas PATH Awards reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these terms, even after it has been uploaded to the competition platform.

6. Judging Process

The judging process takes place in two stages. In the first stage, a shortlist is created. From the shortlist, the winners and the photographers whose works will be exhibited are selected.

Regardless of the annual Theme Cycle, the key criteria for selection include relevance to the theme, narrative consistency, technical proficiency, originality of the subject, and most importantly, the emotional impact of the images and the entire photographic series.

The Jury for 2025 consists of three recognized critics from the field of photography. Their names and related information will be announced on the institution’s website.

If there is any dispute regarding your submission, you may be asked to provide proof of your age, the authenticity of your texts and/or photographs, or evidence that the work or part of the work you submitted is not a product of artificial intelligence.

The jury’s final decision is definitive and cannot be contested.

7. Awards / Exhibitions

For the year 2025, two cash prizes will be awarded, one for each competition category. The final winner of each category (a) Recognized Photographers category and (b) Emerging Photographers Under 30 category, will receive €1500 each, during the official awards ceremony. Additionally, two honorable distinctions will be awarded in the Recognized Photographers category.

The winning, honorable distinctions and shortlisted photographs (as defined per the competition rules) will be exhibited in autumn 2025, or at a later date, at designated venues to be announced through the institution’s website and social media channels. The exhibitions will be curated either by the institution itself or by invited curators.

By participating in the exhibitions, you automatically consent to the curatorial decisions, which aim to best present each individual work while maintaining a cohesive overall narrative and exhibition design. You also consent to the potential transfer of the exhibitions to other cities, which may be presented under either the same or new curatorial direction.

Likewise, if your entry is awarded in the competition, you automatically consent to your participation in the exhibitions and to the inclusion of your work in the promotional activities of the Tloupas PATH Awards.

All production costs for the exhibitions are fully covered by the institution, whether that involves creating new prints or transporting an existing collection.
Existing photographic collections may only be used if they meet the technical specifications required by the curators. This includes image dimensions, printing method, and mode of presentation, e.g., framed, mounted, adhesive backing, etc.

The Tloupas PATH institution and the Region of Thessaly, as the main organizer and supporter of the institution, are committed to the broadest possible promotion of the exhibitions and the public recognition of the awards and winners both locally and nationally.

Following the conclusion of the exhibitions, and in consultation with the artists, the works will either be stored by the institution for potential future presentation in other cities, or, if agreed upon with the artist, be responsibly disposed of.

All exhibitions are curated by professionals appointed by the Tloupas PATH institution. Their goal is always to achieve the most compelling and cohesive artistic presentation, guided by their curatorial vision and creative approach.
The final selection of works to be exhibited, along with any accompanying texts, falls under the responsibility of the curators. However, captions and descriptive texts for the photographs remain the responsibility of the artists.

The final selection of works for exhibition may include fewer works than those originally submitted. In future exhibitions, curators are not required to use the same selection of photographs from previous exhibitions. Curatorial decisions regarding the structure and layout of exhibitions are final and cannot be contested by participating artists.
The institution also reserves the right to change the appointed curators at any time and without prior notice.

8. Use of Photographs & Copyright

Please carefully read the pre-agreement concerning the use of your photographs in the event you are selected as a winner or included in the shortlist. (link)

The Tloupas PATH Awards do not claim copyright over the works submitted to the competition. As the creator, you fully retain all intellectual property rights to your works. By participating, you simply grant the Tloupas PATH Awards the right to use your images for specific purposes, including exhibition catalogs, promotional print materials, and posts on social media.
If your work is shortlisted or selected as a winner, you automatically consent to the use of some or all of your submitted photographs in the official exhibitions organized by the Tloupas PATH Awards.
You also grant permission for your images to be used in the creation of catalogs or printed exhibition materials, for promotional use in leaflets, banners, and posters in public spaces, as well as for dissemination via social media and traditional media outlets.
Whenever your work is published on the Tloupas PATH Awards website or through any of the aforementioned channels, your name will be credited. Any omission of credit due to human error or oversight does not constitute a breach of this agreement. Once the omission is brought to our attention, we will make reasonable efforts to correct it where possible.
The Tloupas PATH Awards bear no responsibility and has no obligation to intervene if third-party websites republish your images without crediting your name. Likewise, the institution is not obliged to compensate artists in cases where credit is unintentionally omitted by third parties or collaborators.
In the case of commercial use of your photographs, such as on postcards, tote bags, bookmarks, or other merchandise, this will only occur following a separate written agreement with the photographer.
As an artistic festival committed to promoting and showcasing the work of participating artists, the Tloupas PATH Awards will make every effort to resolve any disagreements in good faith. However, should a resolution not be possible, any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the local courts in Larissa.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Εάν έχει οριστικοποιηθεί μια υποβολή, δεν μπορείτε να επεξεργαστείτε ή να διαγράψετε την συμμετοχή σας, να αλλάξετε τις φωτογραφίες ή/και τα κείμενα που έχετε υποβάλει.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ πολλές φορές μπορεί να τηρούνται μεν οι προδιαγραφές διαστάσεων (πχ pixels) αλλά να μην τηρούνται οι προδιαγραφές όγκου του αρχείου (πχ Mb). Σε αυτήν την περίπτωση πρέπει να μειωθεί ο όγκος του αρχείου, είτε με συμπίεση είτε με υποβολή εικόνων μικρότερου μεγέθους.

  1. Εάν ελέγξατε όλα τα παραπάνω και ακόμα αντιμετωπίζετε πρόβλημα, κλείσετε την εφαρμογή και κάντε επανεκκίνηση.

Η ονομασία του αρχείου θα πρέπει να περιέχει μια λέξη από το τίτλο της φωτογραφίας ή του έργου με λατινικούς χαρακτήρες κεφαλαία ή πεζά, κάτω παύλα και τον αύξοντα αριθμό της εικόνας (πχ pollution_01, pollution_02 κλπ.).

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Δεν πρέπει να εμφανίζεται οποιοδήποτε δηλωτικό της ταυτότητάς σας, στην είτε ονομασία είτε στις πληροφορίες του αρχείου (EXIF), αλλιώς θα υπάρξει αυτόματη ακύρωση της υποβολής.

Ναι, άλλες φορές υποχρεωτικά και άλλες φορές προαιρετικά όπως ορίζεται από τους όρους του OPEN CALL. Η περιγραφή ή ο τίτλος δεν πρέπει να περιέχουν οτιδήποτε δηλωτικό της ταυτότητας του δημιουργού.

Τα σχετικά κείμενα που υποβάλλονται πρέπει να είναι δικά σας και να μην αποτελούν πνευματική ιδιοκτησία τρίτου εκτός εάν γίνονται ως βιβλιογραφική αναφορά. Τα σχετικά κείμενα πρέπει να ακολουθούν τις προδιαγραφές που ορίζονται από τον διαγωνισμό ως προς το την έκτασή τους. Εάν οι επιμελητές ή οι υπεύθυνοι του διαγωνισμού κρίνουν ότι τα σχετικά κείμενα προσβάλλουν τρίτο πρόσωπο ή το δημόσιο αίσθημα, ή είναι πιθανόν να δημιουργήσουν προβλήματα στον θεσμό, έχουν δικαίωμα να σας ζητήσουν να τα τροποποιήσετε. Εφόσον δεν συμφωνείτε θα πρέπει να ακυρωθεί η υποβολή. Ο θεσμός και διαγωνισμός έχουν δικαίωμα να χρησιμοποιήσουν τα κείμενα σας που θα αναρτηθούν στην ιστοσελίδα, μόνο ως συνοδευτικά κείμενα για σχετικές δημοσιεύσεις, εκθέσεις, η προβολή των εικόνων σας και του διαγωνισμού.

Για να λάβετε μέρος στον διαγωνισμό πρέπει να υποβάλετε τις φωτογραφίες σας και τις υπόλοιπες πληροφορίες που απαιτούνται, στα σχετικά πεδία της ιστοσελίδας του θεσμού. Η διαδικασία είναι απλή. Αφότου γίνει η εγγραφή και δημιουργηθεί όνομα χρήστη με κωδικό ασφαλείας, συμπληρώνετε τα προσωπικά σας στοιχεία, κυρίως για επικοινωνία με τον θεσμό, αλλαγές στο προφίλ σας, απορίες σχετικά με τον θεσμό ή τις δραστηριότητες, εκθέσεις κλπ. Στο προφίλ σας μπορείτε να συμπληρώσετε να συμπεριλάβετε λιγκ για τα κοινωνικά δίκτυα.Το προφίλ σας και οι φωτογραφίες που αναρτάται θα είναι ορατές στους επισκέπτες,στους υπόλοιπους χρήστες και στους υπόλοιπους διαγωνιζόμενους.

Τα βραβεία Tloupas PATH Awards δημιουργήθηκαν ως μέρος του Tloupas PATH, ενός θεσμού εμπνευσμένου από το έργο και την ταυτότητα του Θεσσαλού φωτογράφου Τάκη Τλούπα που έζησε και εργάστηκε στην Λάρισα για περισσότερα από 40 χρόνια απαθανατίζοντας στιγμές όχι μόνο της πόλης της Λάρισας αλλά και ολόκληρου του Θεσσαλικού κάμπου. Ο Τάκης Τλούπας δημιούργησε ένα τεράστιο φωτογραφικό εθνογραφικό αρχείο αναφοράς για μια ιστορική μεταβατική περίοδο της ελληνικής υπαίθρου και της ελληνικής κοινωνίας.

Όχι, σύμφωνα με τους όρους του διαγωνισμού κάθε άτομο μπορεί να συμμετάσχει μόνο μια φορά.

Το μέγεθος των φωτογραφιών δεν μπορεί να ξεπερνάει τα ΧΧ Mb. Οι φωτογραφίες πρέπει να έχουν διαστάσεις το ελάχιστο 2000 pixels η μικρή διάσταση. Τα αρχεία που υποβάλλονται πρέπει να έχουν μορφή jpeg και ψηλή ανάλυση.

Ναι, το Tloupas PATH Awards δεν διεκδικεί τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα για τα έργα που υποβάλλονται στο διαγωνισμό. Σε κάθε περίπτωση διατηρείτε πλήρως τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα των έργων σας, απλώς παραχωρείτε στο Tloupas PATH Awards να χρησιμοποιεί τις εικόνες σας για συγκεκριμένους σκοπούς όπως την δημοσίευση στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης εάν είστε νικητής και εκτυπώσεις των έργων σας για τις σχετικές εκθέσεις. Μετά την υποβολή στους διαγωνισμούς του Tloupas PATH Awards, μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιείτε τις εικόνες και να τις υποβάλετε σε όποιον άλλο διαγωνισμό θέλετε.

Στα βραβεία Tloupas PATH Awards μπορούν να λάβουν μέρος ερασιτέχνες ή επαγγελματίες φωτογράφοι, ανεξαρτήτως ηλικίας, με μία ή περισσότερες φωτογραφίες ανάλογα με τις κατηγορίες που προτείνονται κάθε φορά από τον θεσμό.

Για το 2025 υπάρχουν 2 κατηγορίες που λειτουργούν με την λογική της ανοιχτής πρόσκλησης:

(α) κατηγορία νέων φωτογράφων κάτω των 30 ετών, με περιορισμένο έργο

(β) κατηγορία αναγνωρισμένων φωτογράφων που βρίσκονται στην μέση της καριέρας τους με γνωστό έργο, δημοσιεύσεις και εκθέσεις.

Και στις 2 περιπτώσεις η υποβολή πρέπει να γίνει μόνο μέσω της ιστοσελίδας του θεσμού στην κατηγορία OPEN CALL με portfolio πολλών φωτογραφιών όπως ορίζεται λεπτομερώς στην κάθε κατηγορία ξεχωριστά. (βλ. ανοιχτή πρόσκληση – OPEN CALL)

Τον πρώτο χρόνο, σύμβουλοι για τον θεσμό και τα βραβεία είναι οι φωτογράφοι Δημήτρης Κοιλαλούς και Όλγα Στεφάτου και οι σύμβουλοι του τμήματος Πολιτισμού της Περιφέρειας Θεσσαλίας. Για τα βραβεία Tloupas PATH Awards (2025), κριτές των βραβείων εκτός από τους δύο συμβούλους Δημήτρη Κοιλαλού και Όλγα Στεφάτου, θα είναι Έλληνες φωτογράφοι και επιμελητές που θα ανακοινωθούν πριν την ανακοίνωση του OPEN CALL από την ιστοσελίδα του Tloupas PATH Awards.

Οι διαγωνισμοί που ορίζονται από το Tloupas PATH Awards, είναι ανοιχτοί σε όλους, τόσο σε επαγγελματίες όσο και σε ερασιτέχνες φωτογράφους. Εάν υπάρχει ηλικιακό όριο σε κάποιες κατηγορίες αυτό θα πρέπει να τηρείται, και σε περίπτωση διάκρισης θα πρέπει αν χρειαστεί, να παρέχονται τα σχετικά παραστατικά που το αποδεικνύουν. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση η υποβολή ή η διάκριση θα ακυρώνεται, χωρίς δικαίωμα ένστασης. Οι συμμετέχοντες δεν μπορεί να είναι εργαζόμενοι, εκπρόσωποι ή συνεργάτες του Tloupas PATH Awards. Τα κόστη συμμετοχής στον διαγωνισμό, εφόσον υπάρχουν, καθορίζονται στον ιστότοπο του Tloupas PATH Awards, ή στον συνεργαζόμενο ιστότοπο από το 2025 και μετά. Participation in the 2025 Tloupas PATH Awards competition is free of charge. Οι ημερομηνίες υποβολής φωτογραφιών στους διαγωνισμούς και οι ημερομηνίες των εκθέσεων ανακοινώνονται και καθορίζονται από τον θεσμό Tloupas PATH Awards, στον παρόντα ιστότοπο. Οι προθεσμίες και η διάρκεια και των διαγωνισμών, μπορούν να παραταθούν εάν χρειαστεί χωρίς προηγούμενη ειδοποίηση.

Το Tloupas PATH Awards, δέχεται κάθε είδους φωτογραφίες, ψηφιακές ή αναλογικές συμπεριλαμβανομένων και φωτογραφιών από κινητά τηλέφωνα. Οι φωτογραφίες υποβάλλονται μόνο ψηφιακά (με τις προδιαγραφές που περιγράφονται σε παρακάτω παράγραφο). Επιτρέπεται επεξεργασία, το post processing, καθώς και εναλλακτικές προσεγγίσεις στην εικόνα, όπως το κολλάζ, με την προϋπόθεση ότι το κύριο έργο περιέχει φωτογραφία. Η φωτογραφία ή το έργο μπορεί να είναι σύγχρονο ή παλαιότερο ή όπως αναφέρεται στις επιμέρους κατηγορίες. Με την συμμετοχή σας στον διαγωνισμό εγγυάστε ότι είστε ο δημιουργός της εικόνας και ότι έχετε τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα καθώς και την έγκριση των συμμετεχόντων. Επίσης εγγυάστε ότι δεν υπάρχουν άλλα πνευματικά δικαιώματα ιδιοκτησίας τρίτων και ότι η χρήση των εικόνων σας από το Tloupas PATH Awards, δεν θα παραβιάσει τα πνευματικά δικαιώματα ή νομικάδικαιώματα τρίτων. Δεν πρέπει να υποβάλλεται υλικό/εικόνες που έχουν υπάρξει αντικείμενο νομικών διαδικασιών ή σχετικών παραπόνων. Είσαστε αποκλειστικά υπεύθυνοι για οποιαδήποτε αξίωση τρίτων σε σχέση με την συμμετοχή σας και θα αποζημιώσετε πλήρως το Tloupas PATH Awards, τους χορηγούς του για τυχόν δικαιώματα, τέλη ή άλλα ποσά που οφείλονται σε τρίτους λόγω παράβασης των παραπάνω. Το Tloupas PATH Awards διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να αποκλείσει οποιαδήποτε συμμετοχή θεωρεί ότι δεν συμμορφώνεται με όλα τα παραπάνω ακόμα και μετά την υποβολή της στον ιστότοπο του διαγωνισμού.

Όχι, οι φωτογραφίες που δημιουργούνται με τεχνητή νοημοσύνη δεν είναι αποδεκτές. Εάν επιλεχθεί φωτογραφία που είναι προϊόν τεχνητής νοημοσύνης θα αποκλειστεί από τον διαγωνισμό. Εάν υπάρξει αμφισβήτηση ως προς την ταυτότητα μιας φωτογραφίας και του αν είναι προϊόν τεχνητής νοημοσύνης, τότε ο δημιουργός θα πρέπει να αποδείξει από τα EXIF στοιχεία της φωτογραφίας, ότι η φωτογραφία δεν είναι προϊόν ΑΙ.

Οι συμμετοχές πρέπει να συμμορφώνονται ακριβώς με τις προδιαγραφές εικόνας και κειμένου που ζητάει η κάθε κατηγορία. Για παράδειγμα: ασπρόμαυρη φωτογραφία ή τετράγωνη φωτογραφία. Εάν η υποβολή δεν ακολουθεί τις προδιαγραφές τότε αυτομάτως ακυρώνεται. Για τους διαγωνισμούς κατηγοριών series η ονομασία του αρχείου θα πρέπει να περιέχει μια λέξη από το τίτλο της φωτογραφίας με λατινικούς χαρακτήρες, κάτω παύλα και τον αύξοντα αριθμό της εικόνας (πχ perivallon_01, perivallon_02 κλπ).

Το Tloupas PATH Awards διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να ακυρώσει ή να αναστείλει κάποιο βραβείο μονομερώς ακόμα κατά τη διακριτική του ευχέρεια, αν δεν είναι σε θέση να συνεχισθεί ο διαγωνισμός όπως έχει σχεδιαστεί, για οποιονδήποτε λόγο πέρα από τον έλεγχό του.
